Commuter Parking Options

The temporary closure of the C-3 parking lot for an Athletics improvement and the closure of the C-5, C-8  and a portion of E-3 parking lots for the Williamson Rd realignment will cause changes to users daily parking plan. New carpool options, parking lots and transit routes are available to relieve the stresses of these temporary changes. 

Seneca River Basin (C-14) Lot to Brooks Center

Commuter and employee permit holders may park in C-14 Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Users must park at tire stops. Transit is available from this lot to the Brooks Center from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Use the TransLoc app to request a Nighttime Tiger Transit ride back to the lot from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

C-2 & C-12 Lots

Park in C-2 and C-12 for easy access to Engineering buildings and Lee Hall. Students may walk or ride the Purple Route from Williamson Rd or Nu Street. The Purple Route runs Monday - Friday every 8-16 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Purple Route has stops at Brackett Hall, Riggs Hall, Freeman Hall, Fluor Daniel, Lowry Hall, and Lee Hall.

C-15 and C-16 Lots

Park in C-15 and C-16 in the Athletic District of campus and walk to Littlejohn Coliseum to ride the Orange Route. The Orange Route runs Monday - Friday every 9 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Orange Route stops include Ravenel Rd, Brackett Hall, Riggs Hall, Freeman Hall, and Fluor Daniel.

East Park-N-Ride

Park in P-7 or P-8 located at the intersection of Hwy 76 and SC 93 and take the East Park-N-Ride Route to the Academic Success Center. Transit will now run every 7 minutes peak and 11 min off-peak Monday - Thursday and every 21 minutes on Friday. *Note P-5 lot is closed.

West Park-N-Ride Route

Park in P-6 at the Snow Center and take the West Park-N-Ride route to Brackett Hall every 18 min. Operates Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Clemson Area Transit (CATbus) Red Route

Red Route connects apartment complexes in Clemson and Central to Clemson University at Douthit Hills and College of Business. Avoid the parking problem, scan your ID when you ride the bus, and win prize with the Choose Transit campaign.

Carpool - Groups of 2+ = Free Parking

Students and employees who form carpool groups of two or more receive free parking permits and dedicated parking spaces on campus. Commuters who turn in their permits for a carpool permit will receive a prorated refund for the cost of their annual permit.

Lost Items

If you lose an item during your ride, email transit@clemson.edu. Include what route you were on, the approximate time and location where you boarded the bus and where you were sitting on the bus.
