Clemson University Letterhead
Programs
When designing a letterhead, it is recommended that you use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe PDF, Adobe PageMaker or Microsoft Word.
Dimensions
The size of a regular letterhead is 8.5 x 11 inches.
Graphics
Letterheads follow a standard format featuring the Clemson University wordmark or athletic wordmark as the primary design element and the University seal as the subordinate element for all academic and most administrative units. Illustrative elements such as drawings of plants, animals, insects or buildings may not be used on letterheads. Elements such as these weaken the consistency of the identity program.
Font
The name, address and phone number of the unit are set in Goudy and placed under the seal. The University has a limited number of licensed copies of the Goudy typeface available for campus users. Email requests for the software may be made to client@clemson.edu.
Colors
Due to their highly public profile, it is recommended that letterhead be printed in two colors of ink: purple (PMS 268) and orange (PMS 158).
