Clemson Master of Business Administration

Clemson University offers full- and part-time MBA programs to accommodate a variety of students. In both programs, small classes allow optimal student-teacher interaction with learning facilitated through a variety of applied and traditional methods. The range of courses gives students a solid understanding of broad-based business fundamentals and the opportunity to focus on areas of interest. Students also can earn a dual degree by combining their MBA with other graduate degrees offered at Clemson. According to Princeton Review: “Native South Carolinians seeking the MBA will have a hard time beating the ratio of value to quality that they’ll find at Clemson University. Thanks to lower in-state tuition costs, Palmetto State residents can earn a highly regarded business degree for a small fraction of what their peers elsewhere in the country spend.”

Arthur M. Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership

The mission of the Arthur M. Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership is to support educational, research and outreach programs that promote entrepreneurial activity and economic development of the region, state and nation. The focus is on wealth creation through entrepreneurial activity. The institute was established through a $1.5 million gift from textile industry leader and entrepreneur Arthur M. “Art” Spiro and his wife, Joan. "As corporations have downsized, decisions are being made much closer to the action," he said. "Executives and managers today must act as ‘owner-entrepreneurs’ within the corporate environment."
