Since 2008, I have been a Lecturer for Business 101 (a required class that is an introductory business class for incoming students). I also teach MGT 297 a Creative Inquiry Class title: Veterans History Project. Students learn how to give interviews and engage Veterans and capture their military story. The interview data is loaded on the Clemson Website (below) and the original DVD interview is sent to the Library of Congress for future generations to view. I have also co-developed a study abroad class to France. This class is called: Revisiting D-Day. The course is based on a students experience to revisit the journey of the American soldiers during WW II in Normandy and Paris. Through this journey, Clemson students analyze and reflect on the meaning and purpose of the GIs actions and experiences. Prior to teaching BUS 101, I was the Department Chair and Professor of Aerospace Studies and U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment Commander from 2004 to 2008. I was responsible for all educational aspects of the Aerospace Studies curriculum. Also, I taught Aerospace Studies courses and supervised three Aerospace assistant professors. As the Detachment Commander, I was responsible for ensuring student cadets attained leadership and preparatory requirements for transition as second lieutenants into the Air Force.
