 Profile

Tilan Tang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Clemson University. In 2013-2014, she was also a visiting professor of Finance at University of Georgia for her research. Since earning her Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 2009, Professor Tang has been working on M&As, Executive Compensation, Board Directors, Financial Policies, and Product Market Relationships. One of her papers has won “the Best Paper in Corporate Finance” Award in 2013 Eastern Finance Association Annual Conference. Professor Tang currently teaches courses in international Finance and Financial Derivatives. She also has taught Introduction to Finance and Financial Management courses.
