MAJ Robert W. Rozetar III was assigned to the Clemson University Fightin’ Tiger Battalion in May 2012 as an assistant professor of military leadership. He is the Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO). Prior to this assignment, he served as the Battalion Operations Officer and Administration Officer for 2-151st Security & Support Aviation Battalion located in Columbia, SC. MAJ Rozetar was commissioned as a 2LT in Army Aviation upon graduation from Clemson University in December 1998. He attended Flight School, Aviation Officer Basic and the Advanced Qualification Course at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Upon becoming qualified as an Army Aviation Officer, he was assigned to his first duty location at Camp Humphries, Korea. 2LT Rozetar was assigned as a Platoon Leader in B Company, 2/52nd Aviation Battalion. Upon completion of a one year oconus tour, 1LT Rozetar was assigned as a Platoon Leader in K Company 159th Aviation Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, GA. During that time he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2003 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as an Aviation Maintenance Officer for the Joint Logistics Command. Upon returning from the combat zone, CPT Rozetar was assigned to A Company, 603rd Aviation Support Battalion as the Executive Officer. In 2005, 3rd ID was deployed to Iraq. CPT Rozetar deployed with his BN to Camp Taji, Iraq. Upon successful completion of another combat tour, CPT Rozetar left Active Duty and joined the SCARNG. He was assigned as the Company Commander of B Company, 2-238th GSAB. In 2009, CPT Rozetar deployed with his company of CH-47D Chinook Helicopters to support the Combined Joint Task Force-82 in Afghanistan. CPT Rozetar was assigned to FOB Shank in the Logar/Wardak Province under Task Force Wings 4-101st. Returning from his third combat tour, CPT Rozetar was promoted to Major and assigned as the Battalion Operations Officer and Full Time Administration Officer for 2-151st Security & Support Aviation Battalion in Columbia, SC
