What are the dates of the Intern Employer Day?
Intern Employer Day will actually begin the evening of October 6, 2008 with a social hour followed by dinner. The evening will provide you with a time to meet the faculty, graduating seniors, and graduate students. The event will run through the afternoon of October 7, 2008 with an employer meeting and tour in the morning, and a “career fair” style meeting with GC students in the afternnon. A number of employers will plan to stay on campus through Wednesday to conduct interviews.
How much does it cost?
There is a registration fee of $75 for the first employer representative attending with an additional fee of $15 for each additional person attending from the company. If you are planning to attend the Monday evening dinner, there is a fee of $25 for each person. You can calculate your costs, register, and pay using our online registration form.
What do I get for my money?
A continental breakfast, lunch, and a presentation table with a covering are provided.
This covers all expenses of the function.
Can I interview after Intern Employer Day?
Yes, we can arrange a room for you to use at the conclusion of the event, and you can interview the following day.
Who will be in attendance?
All Graphic Communication majors, including underclassmen and graduating seniors, and approximately 50 to 65 companies from around the country. This event is only open to Graphic Communications majors at Clemson University.
How do I get to the Senior Dinner on Monday evening?
This semester we will hold the senior dinner at the Madren Center. The relaxed environment should allow plenty of opportunity for good conversation. Click here for directions.
