College of Business and Behavioral Science

Discover Yourself. Discover the World.

Students today live globally — whether connecting with friends in Europe via Facebook, purchasing goods imported from overseas or perhaps studying abroad for a few weeks in the summer.

Most students’ daily lives are impacted, in some way, by people, places or things far away from where they live.

We in the College of Business and Behavioral Science believe in our students developing a global mindset. We want our students to graduate as global citizens, ready to rise to the opportunities and challenges faced by the worldwide community.

In addition to curriculum language requirements, we encourage students to go global — to visit some of the foreign places important to understanding different cultures, societies, economies and business practices. And we’ve developed a new passport initiative that gives students the opportunity to grow academically, professionally and personally.

The CBBS Passport Program was not only built to encourage students to seek out study abroad and intern abroad opportunities, but also to get them involved in the international community surrounding Clemson University.

Whether students choose to study abroad in places such as China, Peru, Germany and Serbia, or take part in a double degree program, which allows undergraduate students to live and learn abroad and earn two degrees upon graduation, or they attend international events on campus, the CBBS Passport Program will nurture students’ multicultural immersion.
