The Horizons Professional Development Program consists of professional development workshops and interactive events that will enable students to graduate “career ready.” These programs are facilitated by seasoned professionals and provide participants the opportunity to learn directly from those who hire CBBS students. Topics change yearly, but often focus on managing money, effective networking, resume perfecting, personal branding and ethics. Additionally, programming focuses on experiential learning opportunities such as networking mixers with employers, dining etiquette (free dinner!) and mock interviews (with corporate recruiters).
All Horizons events are available at no cost to students working toward a CBBS major or minor. Whether a career path is chosen in business, government, the nonprofit sector, or graduate school, Horizons will prepare students for future success.
To RSVP, please visit the Horizons schedule of events. Access requires a CUID and password.
