Study Abroad

For many students, a semester spent abroad stands as the richest cultural and educational experience of their years at Clemson. In keeping with this idea, the Department of Political Science offers a growing selection of study abroad options for its majors. As one example, a group of political science majors study in Belgrade each summer, visiting locations throughout the former Yugoslavia and learning firsthand about the aftermath of ethnic violence and civil war. Starting in the spring semester of 2015, the department will offer a spring semester abroad in Belgrade where students will take Clemson courses (primarily in international relations, European politics, and Serbian culture) taught (in English) by faculty at the University of Belgrade.
