The CCIT student consultant position requires a strong mix of customer service skills and technical skills. All applicants are required to have above average experience with Windows operating systems and/or Mac OS X (skill in both is preferred). Applicants must also have basic experience with Microsoft Office, various web browsers and email clients. Expertise in configuring common mail clients (Outlook, Apple Mail and smartphone devices) is a plus. Applicants should also have general knowledge of hardware components as well as the Clemson network.

A student consultant’s main job will be consist of assisting walk-up customers with a wide range of technical problems involving personal computing devices, handheld devices and Clemson systems. Applicants should have be personable, have a positive attitude and possess great people skills. Past experience in customer service is a plus.
