CCIT Staff Presented at SCITDA Conference 2009

Twelve CCIT employees presented at the South Carolina Information Tech Directors Association (SCITDA) conference September 14 and 15. SCITDA is an organization of state agencies, technical colleges and other higher-education institutions.

Jim Pepin, CTO, led a panel discussion on "Leading IT in Difficult Times". CCIT staff presented topics that ranged from FASBook, Storage, Liberating Course Management Systems, Distributed Support to topics that included Going Lean and Trimming the Fat.

In addition, Sam Hoover, CSO's Info Tech Systems Architect, received the Innovation in Technology Award - Individual category, for his work on the Blackboard/Condor project.

Jim Bottum said, "Thanks to you all for stepping up and displaying your impressive array of technical accomplishments to our colleagues within the state."
