Oracle OpenWorld 2009 Conference Presentation

Vivian Morris of Human Resources and Daphne Nessler of Application Services/CCIT presented at the Alliance09 Conference in Anaheim, California back in March. Their presentation was titled "Clemson University's Challenges and Fixes of Implementing Recruiting in PeopleSoft's HCM9.0." Clemson University upgraded from PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8 to PeopleSoft HCM9.0 in June of 2008. The Recruiting module was rewritten in version 8.9. Daphne and Vivian discussed the challenges faced with learning a new system and addressing data conversion issues. They also demonstrated the many customizations that were required to overcome these challenges.

After the March conference, the Alliance PAG Committee then chose Daphne and Vivian's presentation to submit to Oracle OpenWorld for their upcoming conference in San Francisco, California October 11-15, 2009. After the selection process was complete, Daphne and Vivian were notified that their presentation was chosen for the Oracle OpenWorld 2009 Conference; they will be presenting the morning of October 15th.
