October is Cyber Security Awareness Month

National Cyber Security Awareness Month is in its ninth year of promotion and is supported by most federal and state government organizations. During this month-long event in October, Information Technology organizations around the nation will be getting the word out about how to stay safe while computing online and helping to secure collectively our nations cyber infrastructure. The idea is raising the culture's consciousness about Internet safety, the dangers of poor Internet habits, how you can protect yourself and what to do if you suspect something is wrong.
