Campus Network

This service is available to all Clemson University faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students.

Service Description

Clemson University's campus network provides high-speed, reliable connectivity throughout campus. The campus network supports both Ethernet (data) and voice services.

Request for Service

Request for Jack Activation/Installation on campus:

Faculty & Staff: Please contact your College Consultant or TSP (Technical Support Provider).

Students: Please contact the Service Desk

You can configure your computer to access the university's network by following these instructions:
"Registering your computer on the Clemson Network" - http://netreg.clemson.edu

If you live off-campus, you have remote access options available to enable access to the campus network (VPN/Dialup).

VPN Web client (preferred method)* - http://vpn.clemson.edu

Download Clemson VPN client* (scroll to �VPN�): http://www.clemson.edu/ccit/software_applications/software/web_downloads.html

*Windows Vista is currently not supported.

Service Availability

The campus network is available 24/7 except for scheduled downtimes.

Services that require unavailability will be coordinated and announced through the Change Management Web site at http://www.clemson.edu/ccit/help_support/cm/.

Service Requests are available during normal business hours of 8:00 - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.


This service is available to all Clemson University faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students.

Getting Help

The CCIT Service Desk is open at the following times during the academic schedule, excluding Clemson University and national holidays, for telephone calls and walk-in traffic. Clemson University operates on an academic calendar.

Incidents or requests submitted via email to ITHELP@clemson.edu can be sent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be processed the next business day.
