Laptop Support

This service is available to all Clemson University graduate students and undergraduate students.

Service Description

All Clemson undergraduates are required to have a laptop. By having a recommended laptop, students have the advantages of on-campus hardware support (including available spare parts, loaner machines that will accept their hard drives), ability to share parts (such as power cords, DVDs, etc.) with other students, common software load which can easily be restored, easy backup/restore options, and group pricing.

To support these requirements, CCIT provides a student laptop support program. The laptop support program is responsible for all hardware and software support for student laptops and can perform hardware diagnosis and repair.

Request for Service

Students with laptops should go to Laptop Support which is located in L02 University Union adjacent to the CCIT Service Desk and located next to the Post Office or e-mail ITHELP@clemson.edu for technical support.
