Classroom Technology

This service is available to all Clemson University faculty, staff, and graduate students.

Service Description

Classroom Technology is responsible for the installation and support of classrooms across the Clemson University campus. Campus classrooms provide integrated equipment designed for ease of use and effective classroom lectures and presentations.

Types of classrooms available -

Level I Classroom: These rooms have a connection for a laptop and composite video source with basic to advanced control capabilities.

Level II Classroom: These rooms are defined as conference rooms or meeting spaces that have a connection for either a laptop or fixed PC and basic to advanced control capabilities.

Level III Classroom: These rooms have a podium with a fixed PC, laptop connection, most have CATV, VCR, basic control capabilities.

Level IV Classroom: These rooms are classified as auditoriums and include lectern with a touch panel mounted to the counter top allowing the user to control the features of the room. Some of these rooms include the remote monitoring feature. Typical auditoriums include lighting control, CATV, VCR, fixed PC, wireless microphone, fixed microphone mounted to the lectern.

Quotes are available for new installations.

Service Availability

Classroom Support is available from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday. 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday.

This service is available to all Clemson University faculty, staff, and graduate students.

Getting Help

The CCIT Service Desk is open at the following times during the academic schedule, excluding Clemson University and national holidays, for telephone calls and walk-in traffic. Clemson University operates on an academic calendar.

Incidents or requests submitted via email to ITHELP@clemson.edu can be sent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be processed the next business day.
