Employee Terminations

Please notify CCIT HR when an employee is terminating as soon as the termination date (last day worked) is known.  Ideally, the notification will be received 2 weeks in advance to the termination date.   CCIT HR will notify CUHR and complete the payroll termination change.  This will not affect their remaining paycheck(s). 

Permanent and Temporary Employees

Submit this email termination notice to CCIT HR as soon as the last day worked has been scheduled. (CCIT HR will notify CUHR.) This notification should be submitted by the employee’s direct supervisor. CUHR will contact the employee to set up an exit interview.  Please review the CUHR exit interview process. (p.1: Instructions. p.2-3: To be completed by employee and submitted during exit interview. p.4: To be completed by employee’s direct supervisor and submitted to CUHR.) CCIT HR will complete the payroll termination change automatically.

Student and Intermittent Employees

Students and Intermittent employees do not need to complete an exit survey.  Submit this email termination notice to CCIT HR as soon as the last day worked has been scheduled. This notification should be submitted by the employee’s direct supervisor.
