What?
CCIT is in the beginning stages of improving our network so that it is highly available, capable, and scalable. This project will include an upgrade of the floor, building, core switching and routing platforms. The result will be a more stable performing network, capable of providing increased bandwidth, utilizing state-of-the-art electronics for the campus community.
When?
We are slated to initiate work on the first set of buildings, beginning May 29th. See the online schedule for more information.
How will I be impacted?
This work will require a network outage for each building during non-working hours (between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM) on each day of the scheduled upgrade. During this time, you will not be able to access the Internet or networked storage.
