CCIT Business Services is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial support to CCIT. The group was created to consolidate the business operations of CCIT, provide enhanced quality of service to the organization, expedite all processing times of business functions, reduce key person dependencies and consolidate software license management for CCIT and Clemson University.
CCIT Employee Services advances and supports the CCIT mission by enabling employees to achieve both individual and organizational goals through Organizational Effectiveness and Human Resources. The group was created to advance the CCIT mission and organizational values by aligning employee initiatives with strategic priorities, deliver progressive workplace practices to enhance the engagement and development of our associates and promote an environment that deepens the relationship with all employees and encourages participation in our success.

CCIT Communications Office
This office functions as a strategic support unit within CCIT to provide quality internal and external mass communication services, public relations, marketing, publications and CCIT Web site development and management.
Chief Technology Officer
Focuses on scientific and technical issues; responsible for leading the development of large scale networks and high performance computing systems used for computation-intensive research; provides a technical voice in Clemson’s strategic planning for services, strategy, and structure; builds a vision of what technology will make possible;evaluates new technologies and serves on national level technical committees.

Responsible for computing infrastructure including: Data Center facilities management;File and print services; Hardware architecture; High Performance Computing (HPC); High Throughput Computing (HTC);Hosting solutions; Identity services and provisioning management; Infrastructure development; Machine room and facilities management; Mail and messaging services; Monitoring and measurement services; Operations; Production control administration; Server administration for Mail servers, Mainframe, Network servers, PeopleSoft, UNIX, Windows; Storage; Web services.

Server Support Group (SSG)
Customer Relations and Learning Technologies (CRLT)
Supports and advances the use of technology in teaching, distributed and distance learning, research and creative inquiry, and public service. CRLT provides a single point of contact for all CCIT service requests and also offers instructional design and development, technology assessment and training, hardware and software support for lab, student and employee computers, mail and calendaring systems administration, classroom technology support, multimedia and academic systems support and administration, and project and service management.
The Classroom Technology group is responsible for the design, installation and support of the technologies employed in the classrooms and some conference or meeting room space around campus. There are two basic mock-up models, one being the podium installed classroom and the other being the laptop capable classroom. Additional equipment such as audio systems, video cassette recorders, DVD playback, and in some areas CATV, are available. The ultimate idea is that technology is used to supplement and enhance the learning environment of the students.
Computer Services & Personal Computing
IT Support Center
Your one-stop-shop for IT Help. The CCIT Support Center is located in the Edgar Brown Student Union on the north side of campus next to Parking Services and the University Post Office and directly under Chili's Too and Harcomb Dining Hall. The Help Desk can assist you with your IT needs for your laptop, hardware and software problems, userid and resetting passwords. PC Repair, which provides hardware repairs for University owned computers and printers, while also offering service to students and off-campus clients as well is located in the Support Center. Printing services, including large format plots, are available for pick up at the Support Center.

The mission of the Project and Service Management group is to provide standardized processes, documentation, resources and methodologies in the support and delivery of CCIT projects and services and ensure they are aligned with the needs of campus.

Web and Multimedia Technologies
Web & Multimedia Technologies provides advanced programmatic development and support for learning services, multimedia applications, infrastructure middleware, and customer-focused tools and initiatives.
Cyberinfrastructure Technology Integration (CITI)
CITI is responsible for building a campus cyberinfrastructure (CI) environment and engaging faculty, staff, and students who need CI for their academic, research, and outreach activities.
Enterprise Applications
Provides services and support for the major information systems of the University. Staff develops, purchases, installs, and maintains application software and databases that support the University’s core administrative processes and information needs. The area also provides general standards and guidelines for application architecture and consulting for departmental software development, installation, and maintenance. They also provide programming services and support, via contracts, to state agencies.
Application Services provides operational support and prioritized system enhancements to Enterprise Applications.
Data and Information Management
Data and Information Management is dedicated to gathering, documenting, securing, protecting, and distributing enterprise data.
Enterprise Architecture
Enterprise architecture provides a comprehensive framework used to manage and align the university’s business processes, Information Technology (IT) software and hardware, local and wide area networks, operations and projects with the organization's overall strategy.
Medicaid Services provides operational support for the Medicaid Eligibility Determination System (MEDS) and the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in South Carolina.
Shared Services is comprised of Strategic Projects & Planning, Quality Management and Technical Support Group.
Network Services and Telecommunications
This combined unit provides the infrastructure for the Clemson computing network and services related to telephone, data, video, and security communications.
Office of Information Security & Privacy
This new office is responsible for computing policy, security awareness and education, incident response, remediation of sensitive information, and technology deployment standards.
Space Planning, Facilities, Assessment, and Research Administration
Responsible for strategic planning and associated assessment program within CCIT. This area coordinates all facility planning and operations within CCIT. The area facilitates the administrative components of pre- and post-award management processes.
