Members of the Clemson University community have various options when choosing a wireless (mobile) telephone package.  Telephone devices and plans are available from multiple carriers.  For more specific information, please click on the orange link above that best describes your role at Clemson University.

Faculty & Staff Wireless Options for Personal use

Clemson University Faculty and Staff can purchase wireless phones and plans for personal use.  There are multiple carriers to choose from.

Students

No Credit Check or Activation Fee for Clemson University Students! 

Students may sign up for wireless telephone (cell phone) service through the TigerTel Office.

The major advantage of obtaining wireless service through TigerTel is that there are no credit checks and no activation fees for CU students. TigerTel prepares the monthly bill for student wireless service. Students may pay by mail, by phone, or in person at our office in Room 108 of the Hendrix Student Center. We accept TigerStripe, cash, checks, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.

Students may select from a variety of usage and billing plans to meet their needs at minimal costs.  Service providers include Verizon Wireless and AT&T Wireless.  Please contact the TigerTel office for additional information at (864) 656-2550 or by e-mail:  Tigertel-L@clemson.edu .
