HOW TO: Adobe Presenter ribbon in PowerPoint missing

Problem: The tab for Adobe Presenter is missing. Solution Part 1: Sometimes the Microsoft Office temporary files that work with Adobe Presenter become corrupt and the addin/plugin is disabled. In this case you will need to rename or remove the old temporary files. Then uninstall/reinstall the Adobe Presenter addin/plugin. Follow the steps below: For Windows Vista/Windows 7: Rename or remove the Microsoft Office temporary file. This can usually be found in the User folder on the C:/ drive. AppDataRoamingMicrosoftOfficePowerP12.pip. Rename or remove the PowerPoint temporary file. This can usually be found in the User folder on the C:/ drive. AppDataRoamingMicrosoftPowerPointppt12.pcb Solution Part 2 for Microsoft Office 2007: To reactivate the plugin. Click the Office button in PowerPoint. Then click the PowerPoint Options button. Click the AddIns button on the left side of the screen. Then select Disabled Items from the Manage drop down menu. Click the Go button. Select the Adobe Presenter PowerPoint Addin. Then click the Enable button. Then click Close. Then select COM Addins from the Manage drop down menu. Click the Go button. Select the checkbox for Adobe Presenter PowerPoint COM Addin. Then click OK. Click OK again. The Adobe Presenter ribbon should now appear after the AddIns ribbon. Solution Part 2 for Microsoft Office 2010: To reactivate the plugin. Click the File tab in PowerPoint. Then click the Options button. Click the AddIns button on the left side of the screen. Then select Disabled Items from the Manage drop down menu. Click the Go button. Select the Adobe Presenter PowerPoint Addin. Then click the Enable button. Then click Close. Then select COM Addins from the Manage drop down menu. Click the Go button. Select the checkbox for Adobe Presenter PowerPoint COM Addin. Then click OK. Click OK again. The Adobe Presenter ribbon should now appear after the AddIns ribbon.
