Extended Service Contracts for Going-Out-of-Warranty Thinkpads

For information on Lenovo/IBM Service Contracts (i.e. extended warranty) on going-out-of-warranty Thinkpads call 1-866-96-THINK (1-866-968-4465) or go to the Lenovo/IBM Warranty website to find out when your warranty expires (you will need the serial number from the bottom of your laptop) and how to extend your warranty. This extended service covers only warranty repairs, not accidental damage (cracked screens, spilled drinks, drops, etc.) It generally takes some time after your purchase before the extended warranty is active.

Please note that this must be purchased before the laptop's original warranty ends.

For information on Dell Service Contracts (i.e. extended warranty) on going-out-of-warranty Dell laptops go to the Dell Services Store website. Go to the Dell System Information website to find out when your warranty expires (you will need the service tag from the bottom of your laptop). This covers only warranty repairs, not accidental damage (cracked screens, spilled drinks, drops, etc.) It generally takes some time after your purchase before the extended warranty is active.
