How do I login to my course?

Online courses are often taught through MyCLE.  To access MyCLE, go to or go to and click on the Blackboard link in the top right side of the screen.

Your User ID is a code usually made up of a combination of letters from your first and last names. To find yours, you can:

  • Check your bill or invoice from the University (your User ID is printed on it).
  • Call the Clemson Computer Help Desk at (864) 656-3494.
  • Go to the Clemson University Phone Book.
    • Type your full first and last names in the boxes provided.
    • Look at the line labeled "email". Your User ID is the group of letters just before "".

By default your password is set to the last 4 digits of your social security number.  For International Students who do not have a social security number, your password is set to the last 4 digits of your NR number. You need to reset this to a password only you know.

If you experience problems with your password or forget your password, contact the Help Desk at (864)656-3494. 

To change your password, complete the Password Change Utility form.

You should choose a new password that is numeric (numbers-only), composed of a minimum of 8 characters.

What is the availability of academic support services, such as counseling, advising, tutoring and placement?

Each department has their own advisors.  They will meet with you online or communicate with you via e-mail or phone for advising sessions.

The Academic Success Center provides online learning for academic success. They offer a library of online videos that contain learning and study strategies.

Student Disability Services is part of the Academic Success Center as well. Student Disability Services coordinates the provision of reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. All reasonable accommodations are individualized, flexible, and confidential based on the nature of the disability and the academic environment.
