CUBS (Clemson University Business Systems) provides implementation and maintenance support for strategic administrative applications at Clemson. The core systems include Financials, Human Resources, Payroll, and Data Warehousing/Reporting. CUBS customers include the University's Business Offices, including the Registrar's Office, Controller's Office, Human Resources, Payroll, etc. We provide technical support for the systems themselves with functional support for users. Our overall goal is to provide systems that enable smooth, seamless administrative support for the teaching, learning, and research efforts of Clemson University. We provide application guidance, though leadership, maintenance, and support in accordance with the University's goals and mission. These take the form of:

Browser Updates:
The newest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE9) and Mozilla Firefox (Firefox 4) were recently released. These new browsers have not yet been certified as compatible with the CUBS PeopleSoft Financials and HR systems. Technical staff are working to gather compatibility information with Oracle and will provide updates about browser compatibility as soon they are available.
Be aware that if you upgrade to one of these new browsers, you will likely be unable to properly access the CUBS applications. View the list of the currently supported browsers at the bottom of this page.

CU Invoices View issue:
The 'CU Invoices View' only works using Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox3 by default does not allow links with the "file://" protocol, as a security feature. As a result Firefox3 will not display the link as expected. We recommend using IE6, IE7 or IE8. Google Chrome is not an official supporrted browser by PeopleSoft, but will work fine displaying the invoices with this option.
VPN off campus:
If you are off campus or not on the CU network, you will need to load VPN (from http://vpn.clemson.edu) first before you click the 'CU Invoices View" link or other CUBS links for CU access before the link will work.

PeopleSoft Production Maintenance
FPPRD and HPPRD, are unavailable during nightly backups/maintenance at the following times:
- HPPRD: Tuesday thru Saturday 12:00 a.m. - 3:45 a.m.,
Sunday 12:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. - FPPRD: Monday thru Saturday 11:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.,
Sunday 11:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.
PeopleSoft Desktop and Browser Requirements
Accessed via the web, Clemson University's PeopleSoft system is not platform-specific but does work best with recommended browsers. Students, faculty, and staff all interact with the PeopleSoft system via their Clemson ID and password. Guest access is available for applicants via the external applicant's careers page.
