iWeb™
What is iWeb™?
iWeb™ is a web site application that comes with the iLife suite for Mac computers. Create your site using themes. Customize it with photos, movies, text, and widgets. Then publish to MobileMe or any other hosting service. iWeb™ even notifies Facebook when your site changes and adds a link to your profile so your friends stay up to date. iWeb™ sites can also be published to alternate locations using the Publish to FTP Server option or Publish to Local Folder. Clemson users can use this feature to publish to their Novell U: drive without any charge.
Is there a cost associated with iWeb™?
Clemson does not have a site license for the iLife® suite. However, most Mac computers come with the iLife® suite. If you have an older Mac that does not have iLife® or if you would like to upgrade your iLife® suite to the latest version, you can visit the Clemson Apple Store on campus at the Edgar A. Brown University Union or buy it at the Apple Store online for between $59 -$79.
Additional fees may apply if you use the Publish to MobileMe option in iWeb™.

No. However, you can purchase the iLife® '09 suite from the Clemson Apple Store on campus at the Edgar A. Brown University Union or buy it at the Apple Store online for between $59 -$79.
