Tech Talks

Join CCIT trainers Tuesdays at 2pm to learn more about existing and new technologies that are available to you through CCIT. This webinar series is delivered via Adobe Connect directly to your desktop. They will consist of a 35 to 40 minute training session with 15 to 20 minutes of questions and answers. Anyone can attend these sessions and the the archives free of charge. Give us feedback on new topics for future sessions by emailing ITHELP@clemson.edu.

Instructions for Participating in a Tech Talk  

  1. Check your system to ensure that it meets the Adobe Connect System Requirements.
  2. Login to the Tech Talks Meeting Space.  
    • Can you hear the music?
    • Are you able to type in the Questions & Discussion Area?
    • Are you able to participate in the Polls?
  3. If you are unable to hear the music, be sure to run through the Audio Setup Wizard.
    • From the Meetings menu, select Manage My Settings.
    • Select Audio Setup Wizard.
  4. Set your Connection Speed
    • From the Meetings menu, select Manage My Settings.
    • Select My Connection Speed.
    • Select the type of Internet Connection you are using.
  5. At the end of your session fill out the Tech Talk Survey to provide us with feedback and inspire future topics.
