Course Delivery Methods
Off Campus by Site/Web Enabled
- Off campus classes are usually held at sites other than the Clemson campus and may be web enhanced. In this case the course meets in its traditional format, but uses one or more of the Blackboard tools to supplement learning or communication. For example, Blackboard may be used to distribute the Course Syllabus, Collaboration, Gradebook, Assignments, Wiki’s, Blogs, Testing, Document Sharing, Digital Dropbox, Home Pages, Calendar, Announcements, etc. This type of course may be supplemented with additional materials that are provided in other media formats.
- Significant identifiers for this type of course are displayed in the Notes column of the Schedule of Classes. In the example below, you will notice that one of the three notes for this class indicates that it will take place at the Charleston Center of Clemson University. Another notes that it will meet at the Charleston Architectural Center.
