CCIT provides web conferencing via the Internet using Adobe Connect. Web conferencing enables distributed users an opportunity to interact in real time using features such as two-way audio/video, desktop and screen sharing, chat, and other collaborative tools. Web conferencing offers advantages over traditional room-based videoconferencing, since the end user requirements range from a simple Internet connection to minimal hardware such as a microphone and camera.
