Printing/Plotting
This service is available to all Clemson University faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
Service Description
Printing
Printing services, located in the CCIT Service Desk, provides printer support for all Hewlett Packard (HP) 5si, HP 8100/8150, HP 9000/9050, HP 4500, HP 4600, and HP 5M printers located in the CCIT Computing Labs across campus.
Plotting
Plotting services, located in the CCIT Service Desk, provides black/white and color large-format printing (plotting) to faculty, staff and students.
Students - have access to two (2) HP DesignJet 1055CM large-format printers from any CCIT Computing Lab. Queue names for these plotters are Plot02 and Plot03. These plotters print on thirty-six inch rolls of white paper at resolutions up to six hundred dots per inch (dpi).
Faculty and staff - have access to a third plotter, which is a HP DesignJet 5000PS, capable of printing on 42" paper. Since a portion of its print jobs will require 42" paper as opposed to 36", two queues are available, Plot36 and Plot42, by which users may indicate the desired paper size for their plot(s). The HP DesignJet 5000PS access is restricted to faculty/staff of Clemson University.

Service requests can by initiated by contacting ithelp@clemson.edu .
All plot printing is available for pickup from the Service Desk in L02 University Union.
Service Charges
For questions concerning any applicable costs, please submit a "request for service".
Service Availability
During normal business hours of 8:00 - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Getting Help
The CCIT Service Desk is open at the following times during the academic schedule, excluding Clemson University and national holidays, for telephone calls and walk-in traffic. Clemson University operates on an academic calendar.
