Mission:
The mission of the Network Services and Telecommunications Department is to provide support for all voice, data, and networking needs for the Clemson University community. The unit as a whole works together to ensure the stability of campus communications.
Responsibilities:
- Clemson Campus backbone network
- Clemson University wide-area network
- Domain Name Service (DNS)
- Dynamic IP addressing (DHCP)
- Static IP addressing and management
- Remote access services (dial-up, VPN)
- Network monitoring
- Network statistics collection
- Wireless network service
- Telephone/voice services
- Long distance access
- Voice mail service
- Infrastructure wiring
