Graduate Fellowships and Scholarships

The Kimley-Horn and Associates Graduate Fellowship - The Fellowship is given to the student judged by the Graduate Program Committee to be the best applicant to the graduate program in the Fall semester each year. Former recipients of the Kimley-Horn Fellowship include:

The Walter P. Moore and Associates, Inc. Graduate Fellowship - This fellowship awarded to a student with an interest in structural engineering and who plans to pursue a career in the structural engineering field.

The SDL Structural Engineers Graduate Fellowship - This fellowship given by Stanley D. Lindsay & Associates. The fellowship is given to students with an interest in structural engineering who plan to pursue a career in structural engineering consulting.

2008 Timothy Strickland 2009 Michael McDonald

The Russell H. Brown - CCMA Masonry Fellowship - This fellowship was established by the Carolina Concrete Masonry Association in honor of Dr. Russell H. Brown's accopmlishments and is awarded to a deserving graduate student in the Civil Engineering Department of Clemson University who is pursuing a Masters of Science or Ph.D. who has interest in concrete masonry.

2008-2009 Travis Yates

The Aniket Shrikhande Memorial Annual Graduate Fellowship and Assistantship was established by the Shrikhande family to honor the memory of Aniket ('06 M.S. CE). Aniket cherished his experience at Clemson as a civil engineering graduate student, and his family is graciously and generously honoring his memory by enhancing the Clemson experience for others. The purpose of the fund is to provide assistance to civil engineering students who are pursuing their graduate education with geotechnical engineering emphasis.

Dean's Scholar - This is given to outstanding students who are entering the doctoral program in the College of Engineering and Science. This is a highly competitive scholarship in the College of Engineering and Science. The following CE students have received the Dean's Scholarship:

The Civil Engineering Department Doctoral Fellowship - This fellowship was established in 2005 and is awarded to outstanding students entering the Ph.D. Program in Civil Engineering. The recipient is selected by the Civil Engineering Department Chair based on the recommendations of the Graduate Program Committee.

Matt Schuster Ph.D., 2008 - Geotechnical Engineering

Outstanding Graduate Lab Assistant - This Award was established in 2006 and is awarded to the outstanding graduate Lab assistant in the Civil Engineering Department.
