Faculty Overview

Dr. Overcamp's primary teaching and research interests are in air pollution. His current research is in three areas. One is modeling of the dispersion and fate of pollutants in the atmosphere including absorbed dose due to the atmospheric transport of radionuclides. A second area is basic research in air pollution control including scrubbers and bioscrubbers. The final area is the use of satellite and other remote sensing to monitor air pollution and its long-range transport.
