Facilities

This classic photo of Freeman Hall from the 1960's documents the history of the building and its progression from serving as an industrial technology laboratory to becoming the home base of the Department of Industrial Engineering. The Freeman Hall Addition Project kicked off during the summer of 2014 and was completed on schedule for classes in the fall of 2015. During the project, the building received significant updates and serves as a prime example of Clemson University's commitment to investment in modern facilities throughout its campus. Freeman Hall remains the hub for IE students, faculty and research.  Explore this section of our website to learn more about IE's research labs.
