Donald Beasley joined the Department in 1983. Dr. Beasley has received several teaching awards, including the 1988 ASEE New Engineering Educator Excellence Award, the 1989 and 1999 Eugene H. Bishop Teaching Award and the 1997 Murray Stokely Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is an active member in ASME and ASEE, and serves as an ABET program evaluator for ASME.

Research Interests

Nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulics, fluid mechanics of swirling flows, multiphase heat transfer and hyrdrodynamics.
