Overview

Dr. Blouin graduated from Ecole Centrale Nantes, France, in 1993 with an Engineering Diploma equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. He earned a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 and a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 2001 from the University of Michigan. Dr. Blouin was a Research Associate (2000-2004) and Visiting Assistant Professor (2005-2006) in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University before accepting a joint appointment in the School of Architecture and the School of Materials Science and Engineering in 2007.
