Machined components for the Lignin project, which examined how a waste byproduct from the paper manufacturing industry could be converted into a useable source of energy - Dr. Mark Thies, Chemical, and Biomolecular Engineering

Machined components for the Intelligent River Project, which builds, deploys and monitors buoys and sensors along the Savannah River to gather data on water quality and quantity-Dr. Christopher Post, Environmental Information Science Forestry, and Environment Conservation Department

Machined and maintained autoclave components for photonic crystal research, Dr. Joseph Kolis, Chemistry

Machined wear testing components for total joint replacement materials and surfaces, Dr. John Desjardins, Bioengineering
