Give Day Challenge:

Today we are encouraging alumni, donors, friends, faculty, students and staff to come together to raise unrestricted dollars for the college by supporting the Dean’s Excellence Fund. In one 24-hour stretch, we hope to add at least 10 new members to the Dean’s Leadership Circle. The first $50,000 raised will go towards helping our students with significant financial need.

Consider joining us in this effort to positively impact the Clemson Experience for our students. Every gift, no matter how big or small, makes an infinite impact on our students. To contribute to the Dean’s Excellence Fund, click here.

We’re inviting students, alumni, friends, faculty and staff to come together to make an infinite difference with a one-day commitment.

Our second Give Day will take place on April 6. Every gift — no matter the size — will not only help make a difference in the lives of current and future Tigers, but will also help support our students, faculty and staff. With your commitment and support, we can make an infinite impact in just twenty-four hours.

The need is critical

Unrestricted gifts are vital to the success of the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences (CECAS). These funds provide support for student engagement, faculty advancement and academic opportunities that shape tomorrow’s leaders.

While we have a clear vision of the college’s future and a detailed, five-year strategic plan, specific priorities change as the dynamics of research and education create new opportunities and possibilities. To be successful in this competitive and challenging environment, CECAS must have flexible dollars that can be used as needed to fulfill the mission and objectives of the college and University.

The impact is great

Unrestricted gifts are the college’s most valuable resource for long-term success because they allow money to go directly to where the need is the greatest.

The funds:

  • help the neediest CECAS students receive a first-class educational experience that includes Creative Inquiry, collaborative learning, study abroad and career options;
  • enable Clemson faculty, staff and students to address real-world problems facing communities, families and industry;
  • increase the value of a Clemson degree for all alumni; and
  • foster creativity, critical thinking and economic development.
