Works by the multidisciplinary IEA Faculty Associates meet the diverse needs of older adults in our state. From programs using trained community health advisors mentoring older adults with chronic conditions, conducting driving assessments, and implementing physical activity and nutritional programs to disaster preparedness, financial long-term care planning, health literacy, palliative care, recreation and leisure, aging work force issues, and longevity research, IEA faculty are committed to helping older adults retain their independence and quality of life as they age.
