Kristen Lawson, Director, Clemson University Clinical Learning and Research CenterKristen Nebesky Lawson serves as the Director of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) in Edwards Hall working to facilitate the support service needs in the College of Health, Education, and Human Development. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and received her degree in Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of South Carolina.

Before coming to Clemson, Kristen worked for the Mayor of Charleston (SC) as a program coordinator and grant writer and then worked for 7 years as a classroom teacher. Upon completion of her MLIS, Kristen was a K-12 certified school librarian. In this position her roles included working with faculty and staff to integrate technology and to develop information literacy and research skills across the curriculum. She also served as a point person for technology assistance and webpage support for delivering content in a virtual environment.

As the Director of the LRC, Kristen works in collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to deliver a dynamic learning environment in Edwards Hall and for the college.
