CRCA Staff
The Center for Research and Collaborative Activities (CRCA) supports and contributes to the College of Health, Education and Human Development's priority — increase research focus and capabilities. The CRCA facilitates grantsmanship, research, and scholarship by providing a variety of services.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Increase research productivity in HEHD
  • Promote collaborative research environment
  • Support HEHD research initiatives

SERVICES:

  • Identify funding opportunities for faculty
  • Work with faculty to assemble research teams
  • Assist with biosketches
  • Complete and route proposal processing forms
  • Complete electronic submissions
  • Develop grant budgets
  • Provide proposal development resources
  • Provide content and methodology consultation
  • Review proposals for compliance with funder specifications and university policies
  • Review for scientific content
  • Assist with post-award grant budgets and management
  • Maintain grant tracking system
  • Provide research design and statistics consultation
  • Train faculty on SPSS database set-up
  • Review/edit manuscripts
  • Provide ongoing seminars and workshops
  • Conduct summer grant-writing workshops
  • Host new faculty workshops
