Sun Microsystems has recently posted a web article describing the successful collaboration between Sun and CU-CCMS. The two partnered to install the 35 Tflop 'AREV' HPC System at CU-CCMS, now ranked as the worlds 99th most powerful computer. This HPC system is now in use full-time by CU-CCMS, as they undertake massive engineering simulations in the automotive, energy, and aviation industries.
The Sun article reviews the Sun equipment and features in detail, and includes several quotes by Dr. James H. Leylek, Executive Director of CU-CCMS. The article can be found on the Sun Microsystems website, at http://www.sun.com/customers/servers/cu-ccms.xml
