Paul Keener

Paul Keener received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2003 and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in August 2005.  His M.S. research involved the design of a Smart Blending Device (SBD) for the versatile manufacture of polymer blends and composites sponsored by the National Science Foundation.  After graduation Paul joined the Accelerated Career Development Path program at GE Energy.  While at GE he worked as a mechanical design engineer on the Compressor Airfoils, Turbine Bucket, and Combustion design teams.  Paul currently works as an Associate Computational Engineer with the Clemson University Computational Center for Mobility Systems.  His primary focus is in the field of structural finite element analysis, but he also collaborates with senior engineers on programs directed towards computational fluid dynamics.
