Overview

The master’s and doctoral automotive engineering programs are among the most exceptional in the country. Students have direct engagement with industry-leading OEM’s and suppliers as well as tremendous research capabilities. Each is required to study a foreign language and spend six months in an international industry assignment.

This is where Clemson University offers the nation’s only Ph.D. in automotive engineering, contributing to the University’s continued climb in national reputation (22th in the 2009 U.S.News & World Report annual ranking of public doctoral-granting institutions).
