Holiday Camps

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Clemson University is currently closed and has suspended all activities, programs and events statewide through at least Sunday, April 5.   The Clemson University Life Sciences Outreach Center has postponed all events (field trips, conferences, Homeschool Science Days and Spring Holiday Camps) until further notice.  Please check back here for updates! Looking for a fun and educational way to spend your spring break?  Join us for our spring holiday camps, which are scheduled to coincide with the spring breaks of several local school districts.   

Our spring holiday camps provide your rising 5th-7th grader with inspiring science activities and experiments on the campus of Clemson University in Clemson, SC. Come join the fun as we:

  • Perform gel electrophoresis.
  • Compare DNA from known pests to an unknown tree killer.
  • Isolate DNA from foods.
  • Engineer electrical circuits.
  • Explore Newton’s Laws using compressed air rockets.


  • April 7th-8th
  • April 16th-17th

Camp will run from 9:00 am- 3:30 pm each day.  
Supervised lunch time will be held from 12:15-12:45pm - campers must bring their own lunch.

Camp Location
All camps will be held in Room G-30, Jordan Hall, on the campus of Clemson University campus. Each camp’s enrollment is limited to 20 campers. Camps will be taught by Clemson University Life Sciences Outreach Center personnel.

Camp Cost  $75 per day
