Center for Visual Arts

CVA Celebration

The 2014 Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 6:30 PM at the Madren Conference Center in Clemson, South Carolina.

Several unique works of fine art will be available through silent auctions that feature paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more from regional and national artists, including many Clemson faculty and alumni.

Proceeds of the fundraiser support undergraduate internships, graduate and undergraduate research and residency programs, and student generated curatorial projects.

Why is art important?

The visual arts play a key role in preparing students for today’s fluid workplace.

Through teaching, research and service, the CVA draws upon varied disciplines to examine critical issues and artistic concerns.

Our efforts enhance art programming that enables students to excel in a culture that is becoming increasingly visual.
