What should you expect from the program?

The Erwin Center is designed to give students hands on experience in creative brand building, digital strategies, emerging media and account management. Classes will cover how to focus on consumer insights to build successful content strategies and social media campaigns, and students will learn how to leverage strategic media planning to achieve brand objectives.

Media Management in Brand Communications

Brands cannot reach customers without effective and evolving media solutions. Media planning and buying introduces insightful media buying methods and strategies to achieve campaign objectives. This course will cover media reach and frequency, traditional broadcast planning, and introduces the essential role that digital media plays in campaign building. Students will learn about segmentation and targeting, and will plan and present a media campaign for a recognized brand. This course is listed as COMM 3660-001 in the iROAR system.

Applied Digital Communication
