The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is a membership organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for "seasoned adults" to further their knowledge in both academic and recreational pursuits, and to share their experience and interests with other members. Our vision is to provide residents of the Upstate of South Carolina with an excellent lifelong learning program while embracing the uniqueness of our members and Clemson University.
OLLI is open to adults of the Upstate area who are age 50 and better. The members are local people who commute to OLLI courses and who participate regularly, getting to know one another as friends, co-volunteers and classmates.
OLLI has been supported in its start-up by interested community members as well as Clemson University’s College of Health, Education, and Human Development. The OLLI office is in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.
