The CDC recommends flu vaccinations ideally by October. This week, the Sullivan Center has been busy offering flu shots across Clemson University’s campus. On Tuesday, October 8, at the annual Emeritus Day, nursing students and JFSC staff administered this year’s flu vaccine to attendees. On Thursday, October 10, more nursing students, along with students from recreation therapy (in the Department of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Managment) and staff participated in the 2013 Benefits Fair at Fike Recreation Center to administer flu shots and the CU Well Health Risk Appraisal to employees, faculty and staff present for the fair. During both of these events, more than 100 flu shots were administered.
The Sullivan Center is offering Flu Shot Fridays again this year from 10a.m. – 2 p.m. in which you can drop in for your flu shot without scheduling an appointment. If you need any other time of the week, please call our office at 656-3076 to schedule your appointment. The cost of the shot is $25. We accept cash, check, and now even have an online payment portal which you can visit (via this link) to pay for any service at the Sullivan Center.
