Clemson University Wordmark

Group photo on Clemson House Penthouse for Workshop on Isotopic Anomalies, the first NASA sponsored workshop in the new Origins of Solar Systems Program. November 12, 1990. This became the first of ten (1990-99) annual such workshops sponsored by Clemson University and Washington University (St. Louis). That series, which alternated between Clemson and St. Louis, was conceived by Robert Walker, Donald Clayton and Ernst Zinner. Their goal was understanding the anomalous isotopic abundance ratios being discovered within meteorites. Many famous scientists are in this image. The group phto of the tenth workshop (1999, at Washington U.) may be found on this web site also.
